Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 in very poor circumstances. Her mother, who was a failing teacher and actor, was a salesperson for automobiles while her father was an automobile salesman. Jennifer was the oldest of her four siblings, was a frequent attendee of theater along with her mother. Jennifer was impressed. Jennifer's parents divorced when she was five. Jennifer was a part of her life in British Columbia, after her mother moved there with her four kids. Jennifer did not have a good education, despite being a gifted kid. In Canadian schools, her experiences resulted in her becoming the frequent target of bullies. Theater was her first passion, but it began to wane throughout the time she was in high school, and as a result she took part in plays in addition to the assistance of her mother. She encouraged her whole family to be passionate about art. After that, she immediately began to take action.
