Becki Newton

Becki was born in Guilford Connecticut. When she was 13, she began to perform in local plays and summer stock theatre. She pursued a degree in European History at the University of Pennsylvania and during that her time there she spent a number of months overseas. Becki relocated immediately to NYC after graduating in order to take on Broadway. In addition to a number of guest starring roles and national commercials like Cold Case (2003) Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2000) and American Dreams (2002) she found herself as Amanda in Ugly Betty 2006. Their brother Matt Newton is an actor and her partner Chris Diamantopoulos. When I think of the beautiful women I think of I think of supermodels, but they're not. I'm blessed that I can give it up to professionals when it comes to work and red carpet events since I'm not able to say that I'm an expert. Yet, I'm willing to try new things in the realm of beauty. It can be fun to look glamorous! The point is not to be a fussy person, but about looking after your self. It's fine to be a bit fussy.
